Hotel was very poor in terms of decor and food - not at all value. Food was very poor - had to return one meal as so bad. Would not recommend at all

Recently had a break away in this lovely hotel. Should have gone in April but rebooked. Fantastic break. Always wanted to stay here as my Grand mother had worked here many moons ago. Well worth the wait, couldn’t fault it.

The only reason I've put that I wouldn't recommend it is because I rarely do. It was excellent for a base to go walking for a few days but I would want something higher grade for longer. The hotel & rooms were very clean, comfortable and the food good but variable depending what you chose. We sometimes felt a bit rushed in the dining room but this may be because of the current situation and it's limitations. We would go back again for a short break & thought the deal was excellent value for money
