What's Included

  • A Cook and Chill package for one, which includes:
    • A half-day cookery course for one at the Swinton Cookery School. Including tea or coffee on arrival and lunch with a beer or a glass of wine
    • A 45-minute spa treatment. Choose from: a bespoke back massage, a facial, an Indian head massage, a lux manicure or pedicure, a Gel manicure or pedicure, or a warm and cosy ritual
    • Three hours' use of the Swinton Country Club facilities
  • A voucher for two is £269. Alternatively, two people can share the one-person voucher. One guest will take the cookery course, whilst the other receives the spa access and treatment at the same time

Voucher Cancellation & Refund Policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account". After 14 days, your voucher is non-refundable. If advanced reservations are required, changes and cancellations are subject to the merchant’s cancellation or rescheduling policy, and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. You must cancel your reservation directly with the merchant prior to refunding your voucher.

The actual experience was very good from beginning to end.

I was very disgruntled with the booking at the beginning as I booked on one of the dates on offer by travelzoo and then was told by the estate there was a party in that day and my booking had to be changed. As this was a gift for my sister who had to come from Bristol it was very annoying for her to have to change all her family and travel arrangements. Plus I also had to change all my arrangements . We also could not have our choice of cookery class. Swinton were apologetic but were adamant we had to change our date and offered no compensation. Happily the day was wonderful and partially made up for all that inconvenience

Fantastic experience. The half-day cookery school was relaxed and enjoyable and even though I went on my own the cooking spaces were set out so that I was next to others. The tutor was friendly, welcoming and knowledge, the time flew by and there was extras provided for us to enjoy to eat with our own dishes. The spa was lovely, staff welcoming and this was one of the best back massages I’ve ever had, super therapist.

We cannot rate the cookery course enough. It was a fantastic experience beyond our expectations. It was professionally managed and organised. The chef and helper were friendly, helpful and great at giving tips. The whole experience was well thought through so all aspects added to our enjoyment. Well done to the Swinton team. We do hope that Travelzoo put this out again as would love to go on another cookery course.

What a stunningly beautiful place. The spa, though not large, was very good, thoroughly clean and the staff helpful. We were just so sorry we were not able to spend more time viewing the grounds. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely brilliant day. Ian the chef in the cooking school who spent 3hrs with us.showing us different ways to cook with fish was brilliant and.friendly too. Nothing was rushed and would book again in a minute. Followed onto the spa for 3hrs with a treatment was perfect to.end our day. Spa was very nice and the girls doing the treatments were very professional. Very nice head massage with a lovely feet bath to start with. The treatment rooms and relax area were 5star. Indoor and outdoor pool were relaxing .down to the lovely weighted blankets when you got out of the fresh water pool. Would have liked to walk round the gardens and a swim in the lake.but weather was drizzly unfortunately. All in all I would recommend anyone who is thinking of this experience to book. You won't regret it.
