Was a very enjoyable day out, but glad we only paid the Travelzoo price I don't think it was worth the full amount

The service in the café where we had our cream tea was really understaffed, waiting for someone to come to the till to pay, waiting for staff to replace items of food to buy. Hopefully this has been rectified now

A beautiful place to visit. We had lunch at the courtyard café which was disappointing as we had to send the food back. Our cream tea was sold out so we were offered a cake instead - which was really nice.

We spent 5 hours here and found looking around the house and grounds really interesting, especially the Brideshead Revisited connection. The kitchen garden was lovely and recommend taking one of the complimentary guided tours of the grounds.
