Built as a home in 1843, Château La Chaire is now a boutique hotel. The Grade II-listed country house is full of grand Victorian period features.
The property has over eight acres of grounds to explore. Wander the terraced gardens and woods—home to red squirrels and a rich birdlife.
La Chaire Restaurant has been awarded two AA Rosettes. Enjoy "imaginative dishes" (The AA) in its oak-panelled dining room. Breakfast is served in the hotel's conservatory.
