The swimming pool and facilities are fine.

The evening meal was very poor, tasteless food and a limited choice, the room was tired and a family room with a view over a roof, a replacement television was OK. It used to be so good but not now with relatively new owners.

The toilet was squeezed into a tiny space in the bathroom. You could really only sit on it sideways! Room 232

We are a group of 4 very close friends from decades past and we only manage one weekend a year when we all get together so that time is very special to us. Your wonderful staff , relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and decor made that possible on this trip thank you. This is the only time in many trips we have not gone outside our hotel at all ! We spent the whole time, talking, eating, drinking, repeat !

Your Staff ..are great a credit to you and some are amazing.
The only negative comment and I almost made the room a 4 star is that both rooms have flush issues with the toilets.

Breakfast was the highlight and very good in every respect. The staff were pleasant and efficient although the receptionist did not seem interested in my disappointment with the room
Other Comments
the 'Superior' room that I paid extra for was not what I would regard as superior. The view from the window was marred by a dark green wall and large kitchen extractor flue. The decor was tired and one wall stained and the bed was past its sell by date. The bathroom was better but the shower sliding door was not sliding freely and the heated towel rail could only be turned on at the same time as the radiator in the room.

Our Superior room 335 and Spa pool facility.
Other Comments
The hotel accommodates table reservations for handicapped needs at dinner but presumes one is less handicapper at breakfast. I have no hearing and going blind. Food could be better.
