20 Stories has been awarded a three star Sustainable Restaurant Association rating. Criteria focuses on sourcing, society, and evironment.

The restaurant is lovely and the staff were great. The desserts were great too.

The soup starter took ages to arrive. It was tepid and bland. My steak was slimy and my husband's was stringy. The desserts were brilliant. We got a free coffee because my husband complained about his steak. This was the 3rd time I had a meal there and it was the worst one I had. The Service charge serms extortionate too. We will go again but just for a cocktail.

The restaurant should really be called 20 Storeys, as it is high above the city of Manchester. I recommend lunchtime eating. The food offers are affordable. The service was excellent, as was the food.

For just a few drinks and add ons eg 3 course the bill went from the £40 cover to an extra £72.51. The advertised £50 for 3 courses turned into £58. The portions were quite small. The medium rare steak was rare which I can handle but the stake had low taste. Dairy cream in my friends dessert wasn't mentioned but bless them they did give us a complimentary free extra dessert with some bubbly.

the staff were excellent and the ambience and venue are really good. We'd go back for a drink, especially on the rooftop terrace where we had our coffee after the meal. We just wouldn't bother going back for food. There is plenty of choice in Manchester so why go somewhere you didn't particularly enjoy the food

The food, I was expecting something different, and although it was a fixed price menu for Travelzoo customers, the choices weren't exciting and the food bland. It was something we could easily cook at home. We like to go out to try something different. There was nothing wrong with it, it was cooked well, it just wasn't exciting or anything special which we'd expected when we went there.

It ticks all the right boxes superbly. All the menus for food are well chosen and the drinks menu extensive. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, the staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. The view from the dining area and terrace is a wonderful panorama of Manchester from a great vantage point. All in all a great experience.

It was thoroughly enjoyable although we weren't seated where we could take in the skyline view. Unfortunately we had to sit where a mobility scooter could fit which wasn't anyone's fault. I guess it was a case of first come first served when it comes to being seated. The staff were accommodating and welcoming.

After our meal we moved through for a drink, found a table, but after a short while we were approached by a member of staff who said our table would be needed in 5 - 10 minutes for people moving from the restaurant, there was no reserved sign on our table and we were slightly annoyed at this, she did find us another table but wasn’t very polite about this, it did spoil our afternoon and my birthday after such a nice meal

An awesome venue in which to eat and/or drink. As you would expect the views over Manchester are amazing. All the staff we encountered were brilliant and we enjoyed our three course lunch. Unfortunately we didn't find the music very conducive to a relaxed lunchtime dining atmosphere...more like being seated at the centre of a rave. Our musical tastes are extremely diverse but we just didn't consider the choice of music appropriate.

4 of us used two of the vouchers from Travelzoo. Booking the table was very easy and I received a confirmation text the day before for our table. The staff greeting us were very pleasant and we were able to enjoy drinks on the terrace, with great views, prior to being seated. The food was lovely and the serving staff were very attentive.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon out.
