I did feel the music was competing with the singer so I would adjust the music so can fully appreciate the singer. Defrost the desserts a little more as they were frozen.

This was our second visit to Boisdale for Sunday lunch and live jazz, and again we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Food choices are varied, with starters such as tasty crispy squid or pickled herrings or rabbit terrine. Something there for everyone and all nicely presented too.
We had the roast sirloin for our mains - generous portions with yorkshires and served with individual gravy boats.
The entertainment is very good, the Frank Sinatra experience does not disappoint!
And Ella our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will be back again.

Whilst we booked it for the live music. The sound was overwhelming. We thought the supplement of £8.50 per person was overpriced and quality poor. Why not just have chicken as part of the roast. No Yorkshire pudding included in that meal either. Very small amount of veg. The tart dessert had pastry that was so hard to eat. Not only that, we were provided with soup spoons to eat our desserts as they had runout of dessert spoons. Nor was there a dessert fork to enable eating of the tart. Underwhelming experience.

Lovely lunch , food and wine food quality. The Frank sinatra singer was excellent. We didn't have a great view of the stage but we did have a lovely window table with a view and was preferable to being too close to the stage as would have struggled with noise levels I think being any closer. Great experience would recommend

Overall it was a lovely experience as the restaurant had a lovely ambience and staff were amazing. We really enjoyed the Jazz lunch and views of Canary Wharf as we were sat by the window. We had both ordered the pork roast, the trimmings were tasty but I didn't feel the quality of pork was amazing. Very strangely, the knives were quite dull, so this made cutting into my roast a little unnecessarily difficult.

Fabulous afternoon. Fabulous staff extremely courteous and nothing too much trouble and such fabulous entertainment with a live band and Frank Sinatra tribute.

Next time we will book a table closer to the band - the singer’s Mike was quite low and we missed his insightful knowledge and jokes about Frank Sinatra. Brilliant way to celebrate my dad’s 95th birthday.

Fantastic lunchtime experience!
Boisdale staff were very welcoming and service was excellent. The Sunday lunchtime menu is varied but both my wife and I had the roast and a lovely treacle tart for dessert. My wife had the salmon to start whilst I had the crispy chilli squid which was delicious.
Drinks are expensive but good choice of wines and cocktails.
Our table for two was situated so that we could both see the stage. The Rat Pack were brilliant! Lively, witty and great timing from the band members made an afternoon at Boisdale simply ‘memorable’.
We will return. Definitely a travelzoo winner!

It was a friend’s birthday and we all enjoyed the Boisdale experience. Whilst the musicians were absolutely great, it was rather loud where we were seated and we struggled to hear each other a little. Otherwise everything was first class, Thank You.

Booking was easy via email. The restaurant was a bit tricky to find as it is on the 2nd floor of a shopping centre. The welcome was friendly as were the staff. The food was excellent and the jazz band were very good. The 3 course lunch menu was 39.50 which was very good value for money. The drinks weren't included but they were standard London prices. There was a 13.5% discretionary tip added to the bill which was fine as the service was good albeit a little slow but we weren't in a rush so it was no problem. Definitely recommend.

Entering the venue was theatre itself. We opted to take the stairs but the door was locked, the first lift only went down, the second lift went up, but had a blank 2nd floor button, third time lucky we got a lift both going up and stopping on the second floor. Exiting the lift we weren't sure if we were entering a knocking shop or fairground, with deep reds and even deeper carpets and the walls adorned with bendy mirrors. Reception was courteous and efficient but on entering the dining area the music was loud, really good but loud. We were shown to a table near the front where any communication with each other was impossible and just ordering was difficult.
Starters menu was excellent with a good range of options. I had Whitebait with Caper Mayonaise, a great combination with good sized whitebait. My wife had Smoked Salmon, again very nice.
For main I had Roast Pork, as long as the roast potatoes are good, you can't really go wrong, and the potatoes were excellent, the plate only slightly let down by overcooked and soggy veg. My wife had Buttermilk Chicken, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Desert was something of a let down, Cheesecake with a soggy bottom and both desserts looking like they were fresh from a Bookers delivery.
Though the 1st two courses were good with the service and entertainment fantastic, we would be hard pushed to visit again and pay the real menu prices.

The main course was not very nice, the Yorkshire pudding was strange. Roast potatoes were dry and over-baked and the vegetables were overcooked and water logged, when I mentioned this to member of staff, they nodded and walked off.

A very enjoyable experience with great live music but somewhat spoiled by a minimalist, stingy salmon starter with which they were, apparently, unable to provide any bread, and being charged £15 for an Irish Coffee and £9.50 for their cheapest glass of wine - clear profiteering on the drinks. So, the meal was reasonable value but the drinks definitely were not.
