At 33, Marco Pierre White became the youngest chef to be awarded three Michelin stars. He's since handed them back and retired from the kitchen, now a successful restaurateur.

The deal was amazing value: a substantial and high quality three-course meal in attractive surroundings for two for the price of a main course for one. Both the quality of the food and the service were excellent.

Parking is tricky: you expect to pay at a machine, but if you read the instructions carefully it says you can get a discount at Reception (up a steep hill). When you get there it turns out you can park for free if you remember your registration number.

We were asked to get ourselves a drink at the bar and wait until the time our table was booked. Service was rather slow at the bar as only one person serving.
This meant we were late being seated after we had arrived in plenty of time.
Once seated we were served promptly and the food was lovely.
It took a while to settle the bill as it was busy due to the offer on at the time.
I always enjoy this restaurant.

The only vegetarian was linguine with tomato sauce. Apart from being overcooked and tasteless, no way is this a "Sunday lunch with all the trimmings". The menu implied a proper option such as a nut roast which would have been fine. It was the most disappointing and boring meal I have ever had in a restaurant. My wife's nut roast was lukewarm and not as good as the average pub roast.

We had the three courses which was a filling meal - tasty and presentation was good.

Only thing to mention was the twin unisex toilets - unfortunately rather unpleasant smell in there (possibly from the sanitary bins) - maybe some air freshers could be provided? The upstairs rest rooms were perfectly ok though.

Service was rude, the food was both undercooked and over cooked in places and we were initially brought the wrong dishes. When we booked the vouchers, the smoked salmon starter was included in the price of the set menu but when we arrived we were told that there had now been a change and there was a £3.00 surcharge. We explained the situation and we were essentially told hard luck, we clearly weren't the first to question this as they knew exactly when the surcharge had been applied. Pianist was too loud. Once we got the bill we noticed that the service charge was 10% of the original menu price, not the discounted price. Also the toilets were not to the level expected of either a DoubleTree hotel or a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. All in all you can see why the establishment needs to drum up business with Travelzoo vouchers but even at this discounted rate, you struggled to find value for money.

It was our first visit to Cadbury Court Hotel, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, and ut didn't disappoint. The restaurant is lovely with a range of seating options. The service and food was brilliant. Portion size was generous and we left full and felt we had value for money, in fact the food was so good we have booked in again!

Amazing value deal for a super Sunday lunch. The only negative was the 'ambient' lighting necessitating guests use their 'phone torches out to read the menu. Whilst a live pianist was splendid compensation for this irritant.

Car parking charges are totally misleading - do not pay despite what the signs say ! We did and were then told by reception staff you don’t have to pay but car park is operated by outside company. They agreed poor signage makes you pay - be warned !

Starter and desert were good but main course was cold, meat tasteless and chewy and what chief serves stuffing and sausage wrapped in bacon with roast beef?.
Charged an extra £3.95 for a very small pot of cream ( on the bill as peppercorn sauce) to go with desert as crumble very dry - somewhat excessive.
Drinks also very pricey - so yes the voucher was good value but overall with extras and service charges an expensive lunch.

The only negative is the lack of information around allergens. When we were given the allergen matrix, it didn’t go into details within the individual dishes and didn’t include information on desserts. The two roast dinners were identical, so it was a worry whether or not they were actually gluten-free. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you do have an allergy otherwise I would definitely visit again.
The parking information is confusing.
If you park in one of the car parks and go into the reception area you can enter your car registration into the tablet and not have to pay, but this really isn’t clear.

It is my first time to visit the restaurant of Marco Pierre I must say that it exceed my expectations the staff was awesome . The ambiance what awesome there was even a Pianist as background which added touch of elegance . Food was great - highly recommended.

Booked meal for 4 persons for Sunday 5thJanuary.A bit unhappy the parking situation.!! There are signs on entry saying that you all cars parked in the car park Must pay,which we did.Unfortunately the machine which took the card payment, could not provide us with a written paper receipt.!! On entry to the restaurant,the young lady told us that we did NOT have to pay, but just register our car reg at reception.!!!.We said that the signs were poor and she said that they were a bit misleading.!!!!. Our meal booked for 12.30 was not available at that time and we were advised that it had been booked for 13:30,which it WAS’NT!!! Anyway, after our 2 problems the meal was excellent.!!!! The meal simply lacked the little something extra one would hope for in food served under a famous chef's name. Additionally, the service was quite haphazard and very slow at times. Some of the straff were excellent, others considerably less so.
