The Cumberland, which has a prime spot on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, is famously the former haunt of Jimi Hendrix, with Diana Ross, Madonna, Bob Dylan also regulars.
You'll be surrounded by iconic musical memorabilia in a space where legendary musicians once came to play including David Bowie's "Relax" t-shirt and one of Paul McCartney's famous Beatles suits.
The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing—the West End, the shops of Oxford Street, and the boutiques of Bond Street are all less than 25 minutes' walk, or a short Tube ride, away.

Great fun having a cheeky afternoon drinks!! Good atmosphere, funny! On our last visit we had a really attentive waitress who was funny and friendly, this latest visit we had a pleasant waitress but she lacked charisma.

I have been to stay and had breakfast when it was the Hard Rock Hotel, which was special, it was enjoyed by me and friends. I liked the rock star memorabilia and fun atmosphere. I did not realise this would not be the same now it is the Sound Cafe. I bought a voucher for my friend also and I think they will also be disappointed as they previously visited when it was the Hard Rock Hotel. My daughter went with me and she was disappointed that there was no Mocktails as a soft drink!,

A lovely afternoon at the Sound Cafe. Servicexl was exceptional, we did not wait for drinks to be replenished. Food was plentiful, well presented and tasty. Good music playing but too loud as to interfere with conversation. Would definitely go back if in London again

It was fantastic. The service from Anna was amazing. Lovely, chatty, very quick to top up our glasses. The food was exceptional. We had the hot salmon salad and apple cobbler. Really wonderful tasty and fresh. This deal for 2 course lunch/brunch with continual wine for 90 mins is such good value and such a lovely ambience. They even had robots helping to serve your food 10/10. Thank you. Totally recommend

I like the idea of having a proper 2 course meal as opposed to mini hamburgers / sandwiches etc however, the quality of the burger needs to be improved - It was a very compressed, unappetizing, rubbery burger - i didn't eat it!
I have been previously and had the bbq pulled burger which was much better. Getting this offer for £50 for 2 people is great value but, if I had walked in off the street and paid the £55 per head, I would have been very un happy receiving this burger.

The whole area has a great look as you enter, from the lounge, central bar area and the dining area. it all flows and complements each other. Your staff are a credit to you, especially Dario who was both friendly and efficient and made us feel so welcome.

Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. The staff regularly topped up our bottomless fizz. Can recommend the pulled pork dish and the apple cobbler was delicious. Lovely atmosphere - one of the waiting staff was a robot (Bettibot) that unfortunately took the dishes to the wrong tables needed a human member of staff to help - this caused quite a bit of chat between tables !

Excellent service from start to finish. A lovely bright restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff are so attentive and friendly. We had bottomless brunch, your glass wasn’t empty before they were refilling it! Plenty of choice of food and drink and no skimping even with the food. The robots were a major highlight, they were a fantastic and surprising asset. We all said we would go back.
