Boisdale of Canary Wharf, a Scottish restaurant — is now offering a 3-course Sunday lunch accompanied by live jazz for £65 for two. This deal costs 12% less than usual and can be used on any Sunday until this September.
Your meal will be accompanied by live music, including 1930s-style jazz and swing — the programme is overseen by patron of music Jools Holland

Voucher Cancellation & Refund Policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Maximum group size is six guests. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account". After 14 days, your voucher is non-refundable. We waited at least 25 minutes to get the pre-dinner drinks we ordered. Because of Boisdales reputation of serving quality meat I had the roast beef which was overdone and the advertised 'all the trimings' was 4 hard roast potatoes and a small bowl of sliced carrots and spinach ! There are 2 choices of burger on the menu, and my wife was given the option she did not select and said that the burger was overcooked and hard. The waiter asked if we would like a few minutes break between the main course and the pre ordered deserts which we requested. However the deserts were served almost immediately with the apology that there is a new girl on the team ! . The 4 of us in the group each had a different desert ,and apart from 1 (the ice cream,option ) we found the other 3 deserts bland. Overall a very disappointing lunch which I had arranged as part of a gift for my sisters special birthday.

Difficult to find when we left Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee Line. Would suggest more signage for the restaurant. We went initially in the wrong direction so took a while to find it.

Only issue I would have which having spoke with friends who have dined there as well are the directions and signage into actually finding the restaurant . I had to phone them having arrived to the point given on directions to establish the actual location.

Really impressed with the food. My husband and I enjoyed all three courses. The only let down were the roast potatoes were rock hard. We changed them for chips which were very tasty. Jazz band were good and music not intrusive. We could still have a conversation without having to raise our voices.

We had a fabulous time in the main restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic. Food outstanding and entertainment brilliant. We then went to the terrace for a final drink but our time was marred by attitude of waitress. All in all a lovely day and we look forward to returning.

The food was subpar, the Sunday roast was dissapointing. In particular, the roast potatoes were inedible (it was so hard and chewy, I believe that it was microwaved). The waiter was informed about it but unfortunately nothing was done to make right the situation.
