Please, please, please remove the line from the page about this activity that you can just show up with the voucher. It is better to email the globe way ahead of time. I had to go to the box office to print a ticket and almost missed the tour. The staff were kind and it was a fun time.

Booking a tad confusing but once inside guide Mark was superb and so knowledgeable about the theatre and Shakespeare. Made me want to return to the plays and look at them in a different light. Building is magnificent and what a feat of engineering it would have been.

The voucher advised you to turn up on the day of your date choice and ask to join the tour. We phoned up in advance to guarantee a place. This proved to be necessary because the tour was actually full. If we had turned up without pre booking, there were no spaces on the 11.00, or the 12.00 tours.
