Really enjoyed our stay there

Couldn’t fault anything the staff all friendly and welcoming

slow food service. our room was fine but the bathroom was obviously for geriatrics/disabled.Our complaint was explained as they were full and the people on offers did not have the rooms advertised.

Struggled initially to book (by phone) and didn't receive the booking confirmation. Called again 2 days later to chase up & then received confirmation. Had to call back because details on the confirmation were wrong. In the days leading up to our stay we tried 8 times (by phone) to reserve a table for dinner for the night that we were arriving. Experience huge delays in getting through to the restaurant and a few times the call just cut off. Managed to reserve it in the end. Booked 3 junior suites. We arrived at different times (4+2) & had different check-in experiences. Our room smelt awful when we arrived but we were in a rush to get to dinner. So we opened the windows and left for the restaurant. The other 2 rooms were fine. When we returned to the room later on the night, the smell was just as bad, so we asked at Reception to swap rooms. This was made easy by the member of staff who helped us - she was willing, helpful, and personable. We were moved to the room next to our original one. We were offered a round of drinks as an apology but as we were in a group of 6 we decilned. At dinner the staff were attentive and switched on. That was a pleasant experience. A good choice of food at breakfast. Drinks machine wasn't working so it was a bit of a strange experience. Staff were busy but managed it well. Overall I would say that it was a mixed experience but generally good. In my opinion the hotel was pretty tired and needs maintenance. We would book again at a discounted rate but not at full price. I would be concerned if the room that smelt (156) was not dealt with by the hotel. The following morning we saw the cleaners seemingly preparing it for the next guest. It smelt to us like mould - very very strongly. We were thankful that it was our room because one of the others in our booking is currently having treatment for a rare lung cancer - if this had have been his room it would have made him very very ill.

We had an enjoyable stay ,the food in the restaurant was good with excellent service. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities.

Please fix the toilet in room 154 and ask your food waiting staff to tie their long hair back its not nice to be served a meal by someone whose long hair is free and loose and they are in and out of the kitchen!! Gives me the ick.

Excellent great attention to detail by bar and restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend it

From arrival to departure the experience could not have been better. Plenty of friendly and helpful staff, really good room and comfy bed, great restaurant meal and breakfast. ALL GOOD!

I know I am reviewing the hotel now, but it reminds me not to always take notice if others reviews. Some I read before the trip were negative, and I could not agree with them at all.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was okay although breakfast was very crowded. Unfortunately there was a wedding which was very noisy outside our window until 3am. It was the hottest day of the year so needed to have windows open as air conditioning not effective.

Our 40 th wedding anniversary. Red blossom on dining take and two complimentary half bottles of Cava a lovely touch.

Tyler our waiter at dinner was very pleasant. The entire breakfast team were friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good! Reception staff and spa staff helpful and friendly too!
