  • Bridgewood Manor has extensive leisure facilities for guests to use, which include an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. Spa treatments are also available (must be pre-booked; supplements apply).
  • There is a bar and restaurant serving dishes made with locally sourced produce.
  • Rochester, a charming town full of historic buildings, is a 10-minute drive away. It has a Norman cathedral and a 12th-century castle keep. We recommend climbing up to the battlements to take in the views of the town and the River Medway.
  • The Historic Dockyard Chatham is 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. It contains three historic warships, a Grade I-listed ropery, and museums where you can learn about Britain's maritime heritage.
  • There are a host of pretty villages to explore in the nearby Kent Downs. Eynsford, which has the ruins of a castle and a picturesque ford, is around 30 minutes' drive from the hotel.

The staff were so helpful and friendly.It was suggested that I could use the walk in showers in the Spa area..I am not very confident in baths.Maybe I should have enquired when I booked.

Unfortunately very slow service with evening meal. 2 large coach parties booked but already eating when we entered restaurant. However we waited over an hour before we received our main course. Food good when eventually served but long delay spoiled our dining experience. Restaurant manageress offered us and our 2 friends a complimentary drink.
