I only gave a 4 star for the quality of the activity because we couldn’t view the machinery or inside of the production area due to work in progress. I will definitely return , to see the things I missed and also to repeat the tour, tasting and food.

A very well organised tour, starting with a talk on vine culture. This was followed by a look at theIf new winery which is being set up. As it was a rainy day, we went inside for a superb picnic lunch ,preceded by a short talk on the process of wine making and the tasting of their two sparkling wines. We were very impressed by the whole experience which was informative and fascinating. Thank you, BlackChalk

The tour itself is quite short as the vineyards is relatively small. The comments are interesting and staff very friendly. The prowess of pressing and fermentation could have been explained more in details. We got to taste a sparkling wine and a rose sparkling. Good copious picnic lunch.

Blisteringly hot day, but very interesting visit to the vineyard, delicious tastings afterwards. Social distancing was observed and the tastings were followed by our own afternoon tea, served from wicker hampers whilst in socially-distanced individual canopies. A lovely afternoon and felt very safe.
