  • Built in the 17th century, Cottage Lodge is an eco-friendly property with a rustic feel. It has low ceilings, wooden beams, and furniture made from locally sourced sustainable wood.
  • The property is in the pretty village of Brockenhurst in the New Forest National Park. There are plenty of walking trails nearby to follow. For two-wheeled exploration, the bike-hire centre at Brockenhurst railway station is open year-round.

Enjoyed Most
We had a very enjoyable visit. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the mattress and pillows are so comfortable - I don't normally sleep well away from home, but absolutely did during our stay! The staff are very pleasant, and it's a perfect location to explore the New Forest. We look forward to returning.

Lovely little place great welcome staff very helpful. Smashing room designated car parking just outside room fabulous breakfasts and the restaurant in evening very good food .

Cottage Lodge hotel was lovely. Staff very attentive and warm and friendly. The bathroom was a little tired but very clean as was the room. B/fast in the morning was delicous. They had stopped the help yourself buffet and you had to pre-order the night before which was not an issue.

Really lovely staff- made us feel welcome. We had unfortunately had to cancel 2 nights of a three night stay due to unforeseen circumstances, but enjoyed our night there. Breakfast was delicious and really well organised.

Awesome breakfast local produce. Perfect location - great 5 mile circular walk around The New Forest & through Brockenhurst to experience the beautiful scenery, ponies & donkeys. Hostess with Montess - like a country lodge with wild ponies walking around outside. Best English breakfast ever & loved the personal car parking spot !

The staff were welcoming, the room was large and comfy and the immediate area well provided with pubs restaurants and local shops. Short walk to the open forest.

Whilst well fitted the bathroom was a bit disappointing. The shower was a bit too low for my 6’ and the bath (my choice) took an age to fill.

An amazing, friendly hotel. Our breakfast was served by friendly efficient staff and the food was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant which is run separately but once again you could not fault the service and food. We would definitely come back.
