An amazing, friendly hotel. Our breakfast was served by friendly efficient staff and the food was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant which is run separately but once again you could not fault the service and food. We would definitely come back.

We were greeted very pleasantly and offered tea/coffee and cake. Our room was characterful, furniture mostly being made from felled trees from the forest.

As I am mid 80's I found the stairs a liittle steep and if we went again, we would ask for a downstairs room.

Hotel full of ambience, and character, staff very welcoming,breakfast of a very high standard a lot to choose from both continental and english lots of places to visit. There is also a Resturant at hotel which is also of a very high standard.
