Lovely hotel. Excellent, caring, personal service. Food mazing - especially regard to restricted diets. Hotel was warm throughout & much appreciated.
Rooms were very tired and badly in need of bringing up to standard.

A blast from the past!
Fortunately we like old fashioned, but note the Hotel Inspector would not be impressed by blankets not duvets, fresh whole milk not semi skimmed in the fridge, and a bidet in the en suite. However huge room with a sofa, pleasant grounds and excellent food for dinner and breakfast.
Clearly aimed at an older clientele like us!

Lovely traditional country house hotel. Had to alter my booking due to a medical issue. They couldn't have been kinder.
