  • The Boathouse is within the boundaries of the Broads National Park and overlooks "the watery wilderness of Ormesby Broad—a haven of tranquillity all year round" (The Daily Telegraph).
  • The building was renovated from an old country tavern. Downstairs has a relaxed feel with mismatched furniture, an open fire, and a mural that pays homage to the pub's history, while upstairs the contemporary Double rooms have a subtle nautical theme.
  • Wroxham, considered the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is a 25-minute drive away. From there, you can take to the water by hiring a motorboat, chartering a yacht, or embarking on a Broads ferry tour.

Loved the setting, our room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. All the staff were so friendly and nothing too much trouble Food was always lovely and plenty of it from breakfast to sandwiches and dinner, couldn’t fault it

The only downside was no soft seating to enjoy drinks before or after dinner, we tended to go back to our room which was a shame as the ambience in the bar/ restaurant was nice
