  • This AA 4-star property sits on the seafront 10 minutes' walk from Bournemouth town centre. Bournemouth Pier, Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, and the Lower Gardens all five minutes' walk away.
  • The Crab Restaurant is "the epitome of a seafront venue" (The AA). It has one Rosette and serves fine-dining fare made with local produce.
  • There are seven miles of sandy beaches to explore, four of which have a Blue Flag. Boscombe, 10 minutes away by car, has a "cool urban-surfer vibe" (Lonely Planet).

Value for money can’t be disputed. To make a longer break we added an additional night which was not such good value! So overall not so good. Park Central is getting tired. Clean yes, but really tired. Crab restaurant is well presented with included dinner which was perfectly acceptable but limited choice. Breakfast disappointing for apparent standard of venue. Staff friendly and attentive.

We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The room was large & well furnished, very comfortable bed and warm room. The food was first class, very enjoyable 3 course dinner & best cooked breakfast we have had. Dining room good ambience & staff were excellent. Very good location near beach & bic. Excellent choice of programmes to watch on Internet TV.

Having bought as deal on Travelzoo, found when trying to book, only 5 rooms per day allocated to the offer. I had to pay a supplement to secure a room, as was told all the “offer” ones went very quickly. I think hotels should not be allowed to exceed more than they can fulfill. As they pointed out, I could have a refund or pay extra. I understand that, but think it is perhaps a way of getting people to pay the supplement rather than be disappointed. If you could see availability of dates before buying that would be more customer friendly.
