The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients, including meat from Exmouth. The fish is freshly caught by Wright Brothers in Brixham and the vegetables come from Goosemor in Clyst St George.
We like the sound of wild mushroom pasta followed by a lemon posset. More traditional fare includes homemade soup and gammon, egg, and chips.
After your meal, you could head to the 3500-acre Haldon Forest Park woodland. Its 10 minutes' drive and offers horse riding, and plenty of walking and cycling trails.
