  • The property was once the harbour master's house. Wander around the port to admire colourful boats bobbing in the harbour. You can hit the traditional amusement arcades and try your luck on the 2p machines.
  • The South West Coast Path passes right by the front door of the Harbour View. It's a 25-minute walk along the path to Berry Head Nature Reserve and Lighthouse.
  • The Golden Hind Museum is five minutes' walk away. Discover the full-sized replica of the Sir Francis Drake's 16th-century ship.
  • Admire a different view of the harbour town with a walk along the Brixham Breakwater. You'll find it 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.
  • Take a trip to the former holiday home of Agatha Christie. Greenway House, a National Trust property, is under 20 minutes' drive away.

View, location, excellent communication from booking albeit no GF options despite communication, friendly welcome at breakfast

Paid for upgrade room and facilities were poor, basic hygiene standards of shower basin and room poor. Room did not appear to mirror offerings on website which were of a better standard. We feel we've paid extra with no benefit. No GF options or alternatives (as precaution brought own bread and milk)

Lovely location and great room (King size ) with a view of the harbour. It was also useful being able to book parking in the harbour, although the bays are a bit of a challenge to park in as quite compact. The self check in worked well too.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good view of the harbour. Lovely breakfast with superb pastries. We enjoyed our stay and best of all - it is dog friendly.

Nice hotel , but no parking near hotel , spaces are available at a cost , but wouldn’t be suitable if you had mobility problems., as it is a walk away.

Lovely few days. Lucky with excellent weather. One of our best UK short breaks. Great breakfasts and we had an extremely comfortable bed. Super views from our room. The room was small but good value overall.

The car parking space is on the harbourside, so either down a long flight of steps, or a few minutes walk down the road. Harbour View looks across the harbour from a high position so the walk from the town/harbour is UP!

One of the best Travelzoo deals we have had. Cannot recommend Harbour View highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble for Barry, very dog friendly (as majority of pubs and restaurants in Brixham seem to be), super breakfast, lovely accommodation.

A compact building. The stairs are very steep and narrow and winding. No warning of this! We had a room at the back (only option for a twin), barely room to move and the bathroom cramped and poorly ventilated
