We didn't have dinner at the hotel although we did have lunch on one day which was very good. My only positive suggestion would be maybe to provide a few light bar meals in the evening to give a choice rather than a full blown dinner.

Spent 4 nights at hotel. Located in central rural Devon. It is ideal for going by GWR train to either Exeter or Barnstaple. Main bonus is hotel is extremely dog friendly, allowing dogs to be with you at meal times. Owners friendly and service by all the staff was good. Local beers and ciders on offer were good. Restaurant dinner menu was same for 4 days and choices were limited.
Other Comments
Ground floor room was large with opening door onto enclosed ‘own’ patio with a lovely view which would be excellent in summer. The shower room was new but fittings need changing as there was insufficient space to fill kettle for tea from tap. When I mentioned this, a member of staff gave me a water jug. Shower gel was provided but put in shower at a height I could not reach!
