I went with my daughters, one of which requires gluten free products.
Her afternoon tea was probably one of the best we have had when it came to providing gluten free cakes.
She didn't feel her meal was in anyway less than mine
Also she was given the opportunity to exchange her persecco drink for something else from the bar, at no extra cost, as she doesn't drink persecco.

Spa was awful, only 2 sunas and 2 extremely small hot tubs (that where cold ) and it’s indeed of a complete makeover ( decorate old and tatty - will old and broken furniture.) can say it the worst spa we have been to

Whilst the spa is quite small (3 showers ladies changing and changing area gets cramped around the lockers) it is relaxing ,welcoming and well maintained. What makes this experience great is the value for money with the afternoon tea (delicious) with Prosecco by the roaring log fire in the main hotel lounge. Everyone welcoming. Full of olde worlds charm in the main hotel

No private changing area so wouldn't be for everyone. No conditioner provided but there was Elemis shower gel and shampoo. Afternoon tea spot on and staff manners first class. Great in the spa regarding a water station. Lots of plastic pint glasses and big jugs of iced water. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Relaxing spa experience, not too busy. Had lunch afterwards rather than afternoon tea as my husband is not a fan of cakes! Lots of choice on the menu and all reasonably priced. Beautiful views from the hotel to look out on.

The hotel is magnificent and ,as we arrived for a pre-lunch coffee, were welcomed by friendly staff and roaring fires! The lunch we chose was good then we progressed to the spa. Even though the spa was inbetween a makeover it still was pleasant few hours. The afternoon tea was excellent and had the most kind gentleman who served us 3 ladies. Thank you for a lovely experience. We even bought some dog treats for our good girl back at the holiday rental

The food was nice, except we were surprised that the thick cut ham in the sandwich was in fact supermarket sandwich ham.

We came for a Travelzoo deal back in April and the "hot" hot tub was just and so luke warm. We went again, as a special treat, and once again the "hot" hot tub wasn't working properly. A friend has been in between times and she said the same. Several other people there also commented on their disappointment. No one warned us. Also, the men's shower was broken, so only cold water available. Offered the use of the tropical shower instead. Who wants to shower and wash their hair in the middle of a busy spa in full view of other people? Such a shame.
