What a fabulous experience. We purchased a Travelzoo voucher that was excellent value for money. The facilities, the staff and light afternoon tea made for a lovely afternoon. We travelled from Merseyside and would certainly do so again.

Had a lovely afternoon at Appleby Manor. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the spa facilities were fantastic and it was great to have robes, towels and flipflops provided, and the light afternoon tea was just enough after relaxing in the spa for 2 hours. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return soon.

The spa was not as we expected, the afternoon tea was sparse and we were seated in the conservatory whereas other guests on the same package were seated in the bistro/dining area. Also we contacted the Manor prior to booking and expressed our interest, we were offered a standard twin room which we accepted. However on our last day we noticed a menu/information pamphlet stating room spa & afternoon tea package was offered at a considerable amount less than we had already paid. Considering we contacted their reception prior to our chosen dates the offer could have been made..

Excellent facilities, very clean and tidy. The views and surroundings are fantastic. The Afternoon Tea was served in the drawing room. All Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

There is no shampoo or conditioner in one of the bathrooms . When I asked on the spa reservation, the girl said that they hadn’t had any to replace them and she couldn’t do it. That’s second time happened to me.
