All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the spa facilities were fantastic and it was great to have robes, towels and flipflops provided, and the light afternoon tea was just enough after relaxing in the spa for 2 hours. Had a lovely afternoon at Appleby Manor. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the spa facilities were fantastic and it was great to have robes, towels and flipflops provided, and the light afternoon tea was just enough after relaxing in the spa for 2 hours. There is no shampoo or conditioner in one of the bathrooms . When I asked on the spa reservation, the girl said that they hadn’t had any to replace them and she couldn’t do it. That’s second time happened to me.

The spa was not as we expected, the afternoon tea was sparse and we were seated in the conservatory whereas other guests on the same package were seated in the bistro/dining area. Also we contacted the Manor prior to booking and expressed our interest, we were offered a standard twin room which we accepted. However on our last day we noticed a menu/information pamphlet stating room spa & afternoon tea package was offered at a considerable amount less than we had already paid. Considering we contacted their reception prior to our chosen dates the offer could have been made..
