Excellent in many respects. Bathroom very small compared with room size but difficult to overcome with older established building I assume.
Other Comments
I personally had a meal in the restaurant which did not come up to standard and stated this when asked if all was ok with our meals. I was offered an alternative but my three fellow guests had almost finished. There was no follow up to this complaint. I must emphasise the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel.

A lovely relaxing hotel with friendly, attentive staff, who were not intrusive. Food excellent with a good selection of dishes for every taste.

Lovely views dusted with snow - before the Met Office warnings arrived. Hope our friends in Cumbria are safe, warm and well.

The food was beautiful however the atmosphere was a little flat the staff in the restaurant where helpful but not very friendly and made it feel a little uncomfortable
