We had an excellent afternoon tea. Lovely service and quality food. We also thoroughly enjoyed the house tour. The guide, Paul, was outstanding. So much interesting information. May well revisit and do the tour again. Also fantastic grounds and walks.

Staff were great , scones and cake were good , sandwiches only ok. The room was lacking any atmosphere as there were so few other guests infact for a lot of the time we were there on our own which was very. uncomfortable . Personally I didn’t like the red tablecloths and artificial red flower on the tables. Afternoon tea for me should have white cloths, pretty bone china and fresh flowers. Will not be returning.

Lovely grounds with well-tended gardens and pathways. Afternoon Tea was good, though the tearoom surroundings were a bit disappointing in such a grand house.
