The spa's floor-to-ceiling windows are perfect for gazing out at the 43 acres of woodland that surrounds the Cornwall Hotel & Spa, just outside the market town of St Austell.
Amenities at the spa include a sauna, an aromatherapy steam room, a bubble pool, drench showers, and an infinity pool, which is ''the star of the show'', says The Good Spa Guide.
Afternoon tea is served in the hotel's Tea Room, an elegantly styled and contemporary space with plush furnishings and pops of colour.
The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both just 15 minutes' drive from the hotel.
