Easy check on arrival. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Quiet location with stunning sea views of st ives. Great value offer with dinner bead and breakfast then bed and breakfast on 2nd night. Will definitely take up offer if available again staff very accommodating to changes. Food of good quality at dinner. Breakfast was average with fair choice. Although the rooms are very clean and well presented , the decor is a little tired. There has been some considerable updating and redecoration throughout the restaurant’s and bars of the hotel which has greatly improved these areas.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size, on a corner, so we had 3 lovely windows and could see the sea! The mattress was very comfortable so we slept really well, no servicing of rooms but staff happy to give extra supplies of milk etc. The tv wasn’t great, it kept crashing and as it wasn’t a smart tv, we were limited in what we could watch. If you are fit and healthy it’s a nice walk down to the town, up hill coming back though!
