I thought there could have been more choice and we paid a supplement for one dish which we thought was very overpriced. The dish was disappointing.

This was our 3rd visit to Hawkyns and our 7th visit to an Atul Kochar restaurant. The quality of the food was as always, superb and a pleasure to eat. Attention to detail in service is normally high but this time there were 2 rooms with a total of nearly 40 diners. There were 3 staff looking after us all. Sadly the service suffered immensely. Water bottles not replenished, not asked if we would like further drinks, Naan breads ordered but not served, At one time there was no waiter in our dining room for over 6 mins. A simple need for more staff changed our dining experience here.
