Spa and lunch excellent but was only offered water not bubbly, and as they had the voucher, I thought I must have made a mistake.

Everything is great, good value for money. Our only problem was getting served our lunch. When we arrived at 10:30 am we pre-ordered from the spa menu and booked the time for lunch. We arrived about 5 mins early for our lunch booking, and were seated in our robes on the terrace outside. We were the only ones outside. When the first waiter arrived, I asked about our complimentary glasses of prosecco. She said she hadn't been told about it, but would go and check. About 5 mins later our drinks arrived, served by a different waiter. A group of 3 was then seated on the terrace. We waited. Yet a different waiter brought out the other table's orders (incidentally, there was a problem with that order, but I digress). And we waited. After awhile the 3rd waiter had come out again, so we asked about our starters - she had to clarify the name on the reservation. Another 5 minutes and the starters came out, and they were very nice. We finished them, the 3rd waiter came and cleared our plates. And we waited, for about another 10-15 mins. During this time, no staff seemed to come out to the terrace and check on us and the other table. We felt abandoned, and it was awkward for us to go inside the restaurant looking for staff (which, of course, no-one should ever have to do) as we were in our swimsuits and robes. Finally one of us went to the spa reception and asked about our mains, and they eventually came out. These were not elaborate dishes, they were not special requests, they were the standard meals from the spa menu. We had pre-ordered the food and pre-booked, so they knew well in advance what we would be having and when we would want it. We were seated by the staff, so they knew where we were. There is no reason for us having to enquire where our food is. We had a similar experience in our previous visit. Everything else about our experience at the spa is great, just the food service.
