Food and service were very good. We had lamb chops and aloo chat to start with which were both excellent. We followed with fish and lamb curries which were tasty and plentiful.

We went at 5pm on a Monday, so unsurprisingly it was not busy. Service was prompt, food was very good, portions large, somehow managed to fit desserts in!

The food was excellent. Both of our starter dishes were tasty & of generous proportions. We had different lamb dishes for our mains course, both of which were beautifully spiced & cooked to perfection. The service was attentive & unobtrusive. The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant & unpretentious.

The food was amazing and staff friendly. The only feedback I would give is that they were inflexible with the dishes. I wanted a smaller main and no desert so I asked if I could have two small curries instead of a big main and a desert but the waiter said no. He wasn’t polite about it he just said no you can only have what’s on the deal. I explained that what I wanted was cheaper than what was offered on the deal but he said no you can’t change the deal.

The interior looked quite nice,m although it was mostly empty and the staff were fairly friendly.

The food was dried out and bland. The Small Plate Chicken Tikka was dry and pretty tasteless and came with a salad that consisted of mostly shredded carrot. The main course Teryaki Chicken was again very dry and seemed overcooked. There was no sauce and the "stir fried" vegetables were diced veg served in a small ramekin dish. None of the dishes came with rice - you have to make sure to have this option. The Chicken Korma consisted only of chicken - not onions or any other sort of accompaniment. The sauce was extremely bland and had not very much taste. My desert of Sticky Toffee Pudding was microwaved and boiling hot inside and only warm on the outside - burnt my mouth a couple of times. All in all, a disaster and would not go again! I could have cooked better myself.
