The food . The portions were big . The starters we had were too tangy . Samosa chat and chola chicken . Mains were ok but we were restricted in what we could eat . We could not pick clay or seafood dishes which is what we normally order in an Indy’s. Restaurant . The naan was not crispy and too much oil . I had a piece of plastic in my dessert . Afterwards I head so full and felt quite bad

A good dinner. Well presented and very tasty. Polite and knowledgeable waiters, who were interested to know if you are enjoying the dish. The restaurant was clean and the toilets Spotless. With the travelzoo voucher, the menu was superb value. Ideal for a romantic dinner, special event or a business dinner. Old Windsor is about 2 miles outside of Windsor on the A308 road towards Staines.

Eat sparingly during the day, before going for dinner. Choose Rice with the meal and buy Naan bread as an extra if you need it. Be guided by the waiter if you are not sure of the dishes.

The menu was so varied and the food really exciting and delicious but we went on a Monday which was their quiet evening and they only had one other booking. However about 4 or 5 other groups came in after us and they could not cope with the numbers. Everyone was waiting for ages, our desserts took 50 minutes to arrive, but no-one came from management to apologise or explain the delays so customers got fractious. Such a pity as we really enjoyed the food.
