The property is within 20 minutes' walk of a number of the city's best-loved sights, including the "stupendous" (Rough Guides) Duomo -- be sure to climb to the top for 360-degree views of the city's skyline -- and the Ponte Vecchio, the 14th-century bridge lined with jewellery shops and art dealers. You can also visit the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell'Accademia (home of Michaelangelo's "David"). Santa Maria Novella, Florence's main railway station, is five minutes' walk away.
Superior Rooms are more spacious than the Standard ones, are soundproofed, and feature a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Some of them also have a balcony.

Transfers & baggage
Checked luggage costs from £45 per bag, return. Transfers are not included, but you can take the train to Pisa Centrale Station, five minutes from the airport, and then a train to Santa Maria Novella -- Florence's main railway station -- which is five minutes' walk from the hotel. Tickets cost approximately £8, each way, and the journey takes around one hour.
