Overview
The Hard Rock Atlantic City is located just steps from the sand. The beachfront casino hotel is across the boardwalk from Steel Pier’s famed carnival games and rides, which includes a giant Ferris wheel built in 2017.
Guest rooms feature king beds, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, armchairs with ottomans and mini fridges; some rooms have sofas and ocean views. Like all Hard Rock Hotels, the Atlantic City outpost offers an in-room listening experience with curated records or the option to borrow one of the hotel’s 20 Fender guitars -- complete with video lessons and pop-up studios en suite.
Guests have access to the hotel's indoor pool; 24-hour fitness center and spa, with private and couples treatment rooms; a full-service hair and nail salon; barber; steam and sauna rooms; and a co-ed therapeutic pool area. All room pictures of the North Tower show a chair with ottoman. Since I am recovering from Shingles, I ask for a room there as it is difficult to lay in bed. I was told no rooms have a chair with ottoman, only suites. This was inconvenient but I made do.
Buffet is poorly laid out and had long lines for food. No many choices for the money.

The room was aesthetically pleasing but I was not able to get the room cool. There was also no working ice machine on the floor or on the other floor I went to. I was there for 2 nights and I did not have housekeeping performed.

Overall, the experience was very good. Excellent service at check in, very good dining experience, nice views from the room. Only one drawback- the room we checked into had sizable clumps of hair in the shower and a un-emptied basket full of trash in the bathroom. Maybe this was due to checking in after a weekend when the hotel was completely sold out? Otherwise, Hard Rock would have gotten 5 stars!

The only downfall I experienced was it was our anniversary and we brought down some foods to mush on with champagne and found the refrigerator froze everything. Talking to a manager we were told nothing could be done except maybe 1 hour later check out and that djdnt work for us. At the front desk kind gentleman comped our parking fee

I love this deal - we did this previously for 1 night. The girl at check in was miserable and mis-informed us about the deal - she said we only got (1) $50 credit. We asked if she was sure I thought it was for each night and she was very put out - placed a phone call to confirm she was correct. When I got to my room I checked the Travelzoo confirmation which clearly states per night. So we enjoyed our $50/day credit and checked out with no hassle but did encounter another miserable girl at the check out counter. We had a great time - Thanks TRAVELZOO for a great deal:-)

My sister & I had a wonderful time in Atlantic City. We are both big music fans so the hotel was right up our alley. It has a fun vibe. We had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. The food was good but the selection and price was not. I highly recommend the YouYu Noodle Bar - Delicious! The room was nicely decorated and it had an ocean view. Of course everything is nice and clean. I broke even in the casino so that was good. My sister was not as lucky! Would definitely go back. I would like to see a concert there.

Once we had a clean room loved the view. The rooms are very nice when clean only far from casino, food and lobby in the north side. Beach right outside but a hike to any boardwalk activities.

They have a north and south building. The north building which we were assigned, seemed to be about a mile away from the lobby and casino. So every time you went to eat, go to the casino, get your car you had to go on a treck. All handicap folks should be made aware of this. Then when we finally go to our room it was not made. Beds undone, towels on the floor, bathroom used. They told us someone would be coming in 15 minutes to make up the room. After about a half hour of no one showing we requested another room which they gave us. Heard this same complaint by 2 other guests at the blackjack table.

Everything was great, check-in with Yahaira was wonderful, she took great care of my mom who also had a travelzoo booking. Our only issue was the pool was closed on Saturday until 5pm for maintenance so we did not get a chance to use it as we were on a schedule and Hard Rock staff made no attempt to accommodate us. We called the operator 3 times asking for a 12pm late check-out so that we could enjoy the pool for a bit and return to our rooms for a quick shower and they refused. When we asked the manager at check-out if he would at least provide breakfast due to the inconvenience he refused and then offered a 12pm check-out which was too late as it was already after 11am and our bags were already loaded into the car. All in all it was good trip but that last portion was disappointing.

We live in the Philly 'burbs and thought we'd go for a short getaway. We're so glad we took advantage of the Travelzoo offer at the Hard Rock. The location was perfect; right on the Boardwalk across from Steel Pier, it was a wonderful place to take a walk by the ocean. The staff was friendly and attentive; the ambience was fun but not overbearing; the bed was comfy; and the restaurant choices were fantastic. All that and a refrigerator in the room (which we really appreciate)! We had a great time and will go back.

having used t zoo many times never a issue however upon check in when I said do I charge my food to the room due to my 50 a day credit the person had no idea I explained again and was told I had to fill out for their gaming card to get credit. I knew that wasn't right so I asked another associate working at the front desk and they said that's what I had to do. now I go to the place to get a card explain again he has no idea so 30 min later he tells me just charge it to my room which is what I told 3 people for over a hour.

When you arrive, make sure you apply for their "Wild Card" and check daily for the promotions it offers. We received tickets to a comedy show and half off tickets to their buffet, which was amazing.

In the room they have a FAQ on how to check out. Two options provided on this sheet are calling from your room or checking out on the TV. I tried calling and the person who answered the phone told me she couldn't do it over the phone and I could use the TV. I tried from the TV and it said service unavailable. Also, when I booked through travelzoo the link said it included $50 in food vouchers but that deal was not actually available when I booked it but with no explanation. It would have been nice to have that as well.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful if anyone in our group had a question. Prices are too high in the smaller restaurants. No way should a small stromboli be $12. Waters are too expensive. Not quite as many varied restaurants to choose from as other hotels.

This is my new go-to hotel. The service was excellent - people would offer to help, rather than just responding to requests. They made us feel welcome. The casino is beautiful - the slot machines are spread out, the machines are so cool and the seats are beyond comfortable. We had so much fun and will definitely be back. The memorabilia was very cool also, I would have loved to have see corresponding pictures of the artists wearing the outfits and using the equipment displayed.

Because I was not a rewards member it took over a half hour to get a drink and I was asked if I was a member by the cocktail waitress she told me to go and register .. went to the bar for a drink but couldn’t Gamble on the games at the bar because I was not a member .. The refrigerator in the room did not work and the TV voice was off about five seconds .. otherwise I was very impressed with the hotel !!

50. 00 food and beverage credit can only be used for one seating went to lunch buffet which was only 37.00 stopped later for drinks at hard rock bar the residual amount of 13.00 did not come off the bill no where on the voucher does it say must be used all at once.
players club card would not work went to get a new one downstairs club was closed had to go up stairs the line was about 1/2 hour long went back down stairs to play and the new card did not work at that point was not going to go back for a new card just to give my money away poor management
