Overview

Sitting just steps from the sand and Atlantic City's legendary boardwalk, the Hard Rock Hotel is nothing short of a rock 'n' roll entertainment complex: On-site, you'll find an enormous casino with more than 2,000 slots, 120 table games and a sportsbook, in addition to a full-service spa complete with private and couples treatment rooms. There are also more than 20 dining venues, ranging from the signature Hard Rock Café to the Japanese-style Kuro — about which, NJ.com said, "If you've got just one meal here, this is where to go."

Guest rooms feature king beds, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, armchairs with ottomans and minifridges; some overlook the ocean, too. Like all Hard Rock Hotels, the Atlantic City outpost offers an in-room listening experience with curated records or the option to borrow one of the hotel’s 20 Fender guitars — complete with video lessons and pop-up studios en suite.

Excellent stay. Great precautions for COVID. Clean room. Non smoking floor although the hallway occasionally smelled smokey. There were hand sanitizer and masks all over hotel. Temp scanned upon entrance at all areas which is great. Very lively atmosphere. Lots of families with Children, couples, and adults. Everyone had a great time !

If you are worry about covid19, please do not stay at the Hard Rock hotel. It started when we first checked in. We were told when our room is ready we will get a text. Check in time is 4pm. By 4pm we still have not gotten a text. We went to the front desk, of course by that time there was a long line. When we finally got our room number, I asked why we didn't get a text. I was told "oh the room was just finished cleaning." When we got up to our room on the 24th floor, our room keys didn't work so my husband had to go back down to the front desk. When we finally got into the room, I needed to go to the bathroom. When I was sitting on the toilet, I noticed some stains on the bathroom counter. Ok, bathroom counter does get stained. I took a towel and wiped on the stains and it came off so it was not a stain. The dirt was from the last guest and the counter had not been cleaned. I also noticed that the table in the room have a big and long smear of grease on top, ok it might be a scratch, but when I wiped the towel over it, it came off. There also was a round table that had sand on it. The shower which looks kind of clean except for a couple of lines of black spots on the bottom of the shower's seat. Ok, the black stuff could be scratches but the next day when the room was cleaned the black stuff was gone. So beside the bathroom counter and tables was not clean the shower was not cleaned either. I should have called the front desk about the room not being cleaned but by the time I wiped down everything we were too tired to wait for housekeeping to come and clean the room or move to another room. Please stay away from their buffet! We asked if we can look at the buffet before we went in, we were told no. I understand why now because if I did see what was being served at the buffet I would never pay to eat there. The food is cooked in a lot of grease and everything is slathered in BBQ sauce. Also, I don't like the idea that you can't go up and pick up your own food. The server takes your order and brings it to you. A reason to go to a buffet is so you can pick your own portion and pick what you like. As for the dessert, there were 6 selections on the menu. I was told there were only 3 left to select from and I was there 6pm, the buffet close at 9pm. They gave the desserts fancy names but in reality it's nothing but box puddings in a fancy glass. For $29.99, plus tax and plus tips, I can get a good meal in a restaurant. I did get an email from Hard Rock asking for my feedback. I stated what I wrote above. I did a get a reply that someone will email me back within 72 hrs. The next day all I received was a form email stating that they are going to forward my complaint to housekeeping. So, buyer beware!

The massage at the spa was awesome.
Other Comments
The room was very noisy due to it being situated close to the elevators. There was a constant noise day and night of the elevators going up and down. Ask to have your room far from the elevators.
