Great room, loved having the bath in the room for a hot soak, full kitchen was also fantastic especially during these times when we felt more comfortable eating in.

Hot tub and pool area allows 8 people to book at the same time - we would have felt uncomfortable sharing the small hot tub with strangers during these COVID times and feel the hotel should only book the area for groups that are travelling together. Perhaps a shorter time and fewer people would be more appropriate.

Everything was pretty excellent but the pillows were all the same and too big so didn't sleep well and had sore neck. But that is usually the case with most hotels I have been too, although some will have varied pillows to address all sleepers.

We were there for 2 nights. Our room never got cleaned. Even after we clearly walked out from our room the 2nd day infront of the cleaning staff in the hallway. We had 2 adults and a 4 y/o sharing 1 mini bottle of soap, shampoo, shower gel. Everything was self served meaning if i needed something I had to go down to the lobby to ask for it. It was worth it for the Travelzoo price, I would not pay full price for what we had.

House keeping staff were very loud in the morning (both days). It sounded like they were hanging out by our room and we were very annoyed. I called them after checking out for a lost item from our room and their procedure for it was very frustrating.

The overall experience was pleasant however I did find the staff did not overly communative & did not prepare me for changes which I assume were attributed to the current pandemic. i.e. no dishes or coffee in the rooms. Upon check out they did not even ask how my stay was.

Although we very much enjoyed our stay and felt that the COVID restrictions were sensible and properly enforced, there was one restriction that took us by surprise - no plates, glasses, coffee cups or eating utensils were available in our room (all rooms feature compact but full kitchens). The front desk did supply paper plates, paper cups and recycleable disposable utensils, but had we been aware of this situation we would have brought our own. We are not comfortable eating in indoor restaurants at this time, so we took out or prepared all our meals - paper plates and disposeable utensils just do not cut it!
Other Comments
Please clearly state on your website that plates, cups, glasses or utensils usually found in the room's kitchen area are not available to guests because of COVID restrictions. In fact, we were given a letter on check-in which listed all the current restrictions, including a firm check out time of 10am, no later check out by request which is supposedly a "signature amenity" . This information should be clearly outlined on the hotel's website!

I was seriously disappointed to realize that there were ABSOLUTELY NO DISHES in the suite. What? Dishes go through an incredibly hot dishwasher so there is NO REASON not to have dishes during COVID. I stayed at the Delta the week before and the suite was completely stocked. But overall, the stay was just fine. Oh -- I also didn't need a massive jacuzzi tub in my room. What's the point? But I really enjoyed the hotel.

I stayed at the Delta the week before and the suite was completely stocked. We'll be heading to Whistler a lot this winter, but will not be staying at the Pinnacle because of the dishes. If I'm making my own meals in the suite -- as we like to do -- I do not want to be eating off paper with plastic. And the whole coffee situation is ridiculous.

In room, 211, had Kitchenette, but did not provide dishwashing liquid for pots and pans. When patio door r window open, could smell whiffs of natural gas. Told front desk. Said it was probably from road work ! Dismissed our concerns. I suspect it was from the gas fireplace exhaust which was right outside the door. Also, room too warm. Pilot light in fireplace was on and gave off a lot of warmth, but couldn’t open door for cool air because of gas smell, and air conditioner was a bit loud, especially for night/sleeping time. Too bad, because otherwise nice room and great location.

The hotel had all dishes locked away so no glasses for wine etc. The room was not ready at 3pm when we arrived on a Tuesday and were asked to come back at 4 with checkout at 10am due to the extra time needed for Covid cleaning. The only difference in the room was No Dishes so why would it take 6 hours to clean a room when there is less to do then before. The hotel does offer paper plates, bowls, cups and compostable cutlery so you can have toast and coffee in the morning. The bed was uncomfortable with indentations from over use, they need to replace the mattress but the bathroom had been fully renovated so that was really nice. The hotel is fine but I would pick another one next time.

The bed was very comfy. Checkout was too early. We requested a late checkout, only one hour was extended. Nice to have a kitchen, no dishes or cutlery was provided. We had to call and paper cups, plates and plastic cutlery provided. Robes were not in the room unless you request them. This is all to do with Covid protocol. The lobby is small. The hotel is in a quiet location of Whistler village, all within a walking distance.

A wonderful boutique hotel that is a quick 5 min walk to the village. We went during the Covid 19 and the hotel was very well setup to keep you healthy and well. Our kitchen had an apartment size fridge, a stove with an oven and even a dishwasher. They provided disposable paper plates, cups and cutlery. Just make sure you bring your own can opener, a small knife and cutting board, salt and pepper and your own cutlery and dishes if you don’t like using plastic and paper. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. The shower had a rain shower. We would definitely stay here again!

We should have been told
1 pool hot tub shut (hotels on both sides had pools/hot tubs fully operational, so not due to Covid
2 restaurant shut that a 15% coupon was offered on in the hotel
3 kitchen cupboards were zap strapped shut so no kitchen facilities, no plates, cutlery, glasses etc, coffee anything. I did ask at front desk and they gave me 2 coffee pods and 2 paper cups. Asked for a glass to make a drink gave me 2 more plastic cups, really disappointed. The room was fine but don’t advertise as kitchenette when you have nothing in it. Everything I packed to eat / drink there I ended up taking home again which was a gator due to how are trip had been planned
We were very disappointed in our night, thought we would have diner drinks on our deck and get some pool time/hot tub in, meal in restaurant, none of which happened
I answered yes to going back only if all facilities offered were available
Covid cannot be blamed for all of this due to surrounding hotels with all facilities open
I definitely would have cancelled if we had known about all of this
So disappointed!

Due to Covid-19 measures, the hotel amenities were not available, which we understood. We were offered an upgraded room with a jacuzzi. Which we enjoyed but were given two double beds when we asked for king size bed. Not a big issue however.
We asked for wine glasses and were given paper cups. I don't understand regardless of Covid why were were unable to have glasses when we weren't getting daily housekeeping. Glasses could of been placed in dishwasher on departure.

This is a very good hotel if you are on somewhat of a budget - decent hotel in a very good location - on the edge of the north village. Rooms are definitely dated and the bed seemed a little small for a queen (seemed more of a double) - the hotel could use a refresh. The rooms are also not very sound proof. Bottom line - decent value for the money in a good location.
Other Comments
The only real negative comment I have is that we arrived early and asked if we are able to check in early. The room was not ready but the man at the front desk stated that he would call us as soon as it was ready. So, we went on our way, off to enjoy the village. That phone call never came - he had clearly forgotten about us - didn't care enough to remember, I guess.

My parents were visiting from Alberta and so we decided to take them to Whistler. One of there favourite things about a hotel is a hot tub. So they were very frustrated when we went to use it in the morning and they hadn’t even heated it yet. And told us it wouldn’t be ready for another 3 hours even though it was the hours the hot tub was supposed to be available. They also failed to tell us this when we checked in. Had I known this we would not have stayed here.
