With stylish art deco design, all of the New Yorker’s rooms include a flat-screen TV with HBO, a work space, a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board. Guests can also opt for spacious suites that include a separate living room with a sleeper sofa. The hotel is right above the famous 24-hour Tick Tock Diner, a New York institution dishing out American-style comfort food -- everything from juicy burgers to crisp, fresh salads and an all-day breakfast menu. Other on-site dining outlets include a sleek Italian restaurant, Trattoria Bianca, and a new steakhouse, Butcher & Banker, which is inside a bank vault.
