Royal Park Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- AAA 4-Diamond award-winning boutique hotel with modern amenities
- The elegant hotel library is an ideal spot to relax and unplug
- The location in the center of Rochester provides quick access to its quaint downtown as well as nearby hiking and bike trails
Located 30 miles north of Detroit, the Royal Park Hotel rolls AAA 4-Diamond award-winning service into a serene small-town retreat with European flair. From its English manor-inspired architecture to the intercontinental menu at the hotel's PARK 600 restaurant, the Royal Park combines all the ingredients necessary for a sophisticated yet comfortable getaway.
Although rooms do not feature coffee makers, guests can find coffee freshly brewed in the lobby every morning at no extra charge. Bathrooms outfitted with Italian marble fixtures are also standard in all room types, plus free Wi-Fi and spacious work desks. We particularly love tucking into one of the 400 books on offer in the stately hotel library -- not to mention 24-hour access to the state-of-the art gym on the second floor.
Daily bike rentals (for an extra fee) let guests explore surrounding Rochester. Consider visiting the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm (2-mile ride), try your hand at fly fishing in nearby Paint Creek or talk to the concierge about scheduling a tee-time at one of 10 golf courses in the area.
The Royal Park Hotel extends its services to the four-legged member of your family as well. Pets can expect plush doggy beds and complimentary homemade treats from the PARK 600 pastry team. A $100 deposit is required for all dogs (see the pet policy on the hotel website for details).
