Lovely comfortable, friendly hotel.
Other Comments
We had a cream tea included but it wasn’t up to the standard of the rest of the food at the hotel, scones hard and not enjoyable.

The hotel was wonderful . The staff were so friendly and helpful . All the restaurant staff, both in the morning and evening were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them . They also gave advice on how to travel around the area . They are all an asset to the hotel . We ate there both nights , the meals were first class not only the taste but the presentation, we would highly recommend this hotel .

The bed was comfortable
Other Comments
The room needed an upgrade. There were no towels in the room and the bathroom was not clean. Also very difficult to access the shower. The television did not work. No drinking water in the room and only one teabag and no coffee! The food and service was on the whole average. The building looked quite dilapidated from the outside.

Lovely little Hamlet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food delicious and very generous portions, lovely old Inn but needs quite a bit of tlc and updating which obviously costs a lot of money in these difficult times. Good value for money
