Lovely laid back visit to a traditional hotel. Helpful and friendly staff with super breakfast.

Great food, very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms in courtyard clean but in need of upgrade as starting to look shabby. Bathroom especially needs upgrading but was ok and served a purpose. Skip in car park so seems work was being undertaken in some rooms. Pretty village and parking available too. Would use again.

The hotel is Ideally placed for visiting the Cotswold villages and Oxford with public transport between Banbury and Oxford. The hotel Staff were pleasant and helpful and the public areas were very nice. Our bedroom was spacious although very tired - dust on the ceiling, bedside table and around the tv. The bathroom had a deep narrow bath and the shower was very poor. The bed was comfortable and bed linen and towels were very clean. The restaurant service during the evening we ate there was extremely poor probably because there was a very large party in. We were told there would be a 20-30 minute delay for food however we waited an hour for starters whilst the large party were served their first two courses along with other restaurant guests. When our food did arrive it was delicious and the quality of it was excellent. By way of apology our restaurant bill was reduced. Breakfast service was good and again the quality and choice of breakfast menu was excellent.

Deddington Arms Hotel has a wonderful history, is full of character and Deddington is a lovely place to stay. Although our room would benefit from upgrading we both agree that we would stay again.

we were a group of 4 × 70+ women, old friends, meeting up from different places. Only thing I'd change is the bedrooms. Old equipment on walls (room 12) is a bit off putting. Also shower / shower curtain. Appreciate it all costs money!

Very pleasant staff. A thanks to Tracy, a new employee, for her enthusiasm and attention to detail. Food was good too. Thanks to chef & kitchen staff

The hot water.

The food, evening menu. The plate needed more vegetables. The van parked outside our bedroom window completely blocking daylight.
