Excellent location for access to coast and Dartmoor. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Great selection of good quality food for dinner and breakfast.
Other Comments
Dining room staff should be trained to clear tables more quickly when passing, and be aware when diners have finished eating.

The room was pretty clean and in reasonable condition
Other Comments
The room was quite a walk from the main building which wasn't good for my other half who suffers with arthritis. The A la carte meal was also poor and we had far better in the adjoining pub

Excellent value. The restaurant was very slow for dinner but they did have a lot of other guests. The water in the bathroom did not get hot but this was resolved while we were there. The key card for the room needed to be reprogrammed a number of times

Fine. It rained so location does allow for different undercover activities. Reception staff seemed new. No bus timetables or maps of nearby walks etc. I had decided on my dinner choices from the hotel website and was disappointed to find out later that the menu had radically changed as had the prices!
Other Comments
It's important that your menu on your website is updated at the same time as your paper. Many rooms are not in the main building.

A tired hotel and although cheap it was just acceptable. The staff seemed disinterested and service was poor. The food was fine and the room clean but overall I wouldn't go again.

Very relaxing and friendly hotel.
Other Comments
This was a great value deal. Comfortable hotel in a lovely location. Shame that the restaurant had run out of several items on the menu at 8pm and it was 9pm before our food arrived at all! The staff were all superb.
