Hello Lisbon Cais do Sodré Apartments offers modern apartments in the heart of regenerated Cais do Sodré, "one of the city's coolest nightlife districts", where "elegant new bars jostle with contemporary restaurants" (The Guardian).
Set right on Rua Nova do Carvalho, a pedestrianised street with a lively vibe known as Rua Cor-de-Rosa for its distinctive pink paving, the apartments occupy a traditional building with wrought-iron balconies that is an ideal base from which to explore the area's attractions. Mercado da Ribeira food market, Povo fado club, specialising in traditional Portuguese music, and Praça de São Paulo, with its noted 18th-century architecture, are all a few minutes' stroll away, along with Ribeira das Naus riverside promenade and Cais do Sodré station, where trains link directly to the coast and the beach. The vibrant Bairro Alto area is 15 minutes' walk away and ancient Alfama, with its winding cobbled streets and sweeping city views, takes around 25 minutes to reach on foot.
Sleeping up to four people, the 1- and 2-bedroom apartments feature clean, contemporary décor with wooden floors, dark wood furnishing and walls hung with bold artwork and murals. All have free Wi-Fi and a TV, as well as kitchen/dining areas, laundry rooms and separate living space. One-bedroom apartments have sofabeds. The hotel is close to several late-night bars. If you are concerned about noise, please mention in the Special Request field on the booking page that you would like an apartment at the rear or on a higher floor.
