Overview
This former private house on Parliament Hill is in a top location for exploring Quebec City's highlights. Old Quebec -- a UNESCO World Heritage site -- is a 10-minute walk away and is a "living museum of narrow cobblestone streets" (Lonely Planet) lined with quaint cafes and 17th- and 18th-century houses. The Plains of Abraham, a large recreational park, and the bustling Grande Allee are both within walking distance of the hotel.

Lobby was nice. Room was smaller than expected and quite drab with beige colours and virtually no art work. However the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The pool and sauna were lovely. Food at the attached resto was good for breakfast and poor for dinner. Service was good. Overall, we were a bit disappointed and would look for somewhere with better atmosphere next time.

Great location and a lot of extra services such as pool, spa, exercise room. Very comfortable common areas with gas fireplace welocoming. There was confusion at the counter about payment which took a while to resolve.

The bed was not as comfortable as the last time I stayed so maybe an older room. Also was on 1st floor when asked if I could get a room higher uo the response was"not based on what you are paying" which I found degrading given there is not extra cost usually to move floors.

Loved our stay. Staff were helpful and we had bathrobes in our room which made me SO HAPPY!!! I had deleted my Conformation letter from travel zoo but both times they re sent it no problem.i would book with Travelzoo again !!

Breakfast was quite expencive at 24.99 for the buffet as the only place to get food was the st. Hubertus but....
