Nice stopping off point on the way to the Okanagan. Still too much snow around to access many of the trails. Rooms clean but no cable TV and rooms not well insulated for noise as we could easily hear our neighbours. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The restaurant food was good and the serving staff friendly and helpful. The desserts are huge and easily shareable. We couldn’t finish ours and they are a bit pricey. The desserts and the prices were not listed on the menu. My dessert cost 80% of my main course.

We stayed for four nights, the bar and the nearby lake and park were not open due to the season, everything was relatively quiet, the weather was just fine, and the scenery along the road was a bit like Bnaff thirty years ago. I saw seven deer this time Road and some attractions, is the biggest gain.

Like the log style theme and wood carvings. The wilderness area around looks like it might be beautiful, probably some beautiful hikes and scenic views.

Warped old mattresses, thin walls---too much noise heard through walls from other rooms and hallway, dingy stained worn carpets, walls severely dinged up and paint chipped and peeling on walls, curtain rod fell off wall. Bathroom needs severe reno---wore flip flops into washroom. Hallways and main area/front desk of resort also in dire need of carpets being replaced, fresh paint and touch ups etc.
Purchased a two night stay and only stayed the one night, left the resort the next morning. No refund given for the second night.
Got to say Travelzoo, this one was a huge disappointment. I've always had good recommendations from you, but this one was a huge disappointment.

Travel zoo did not provide info that cable TV has been down since the March floods. The provided DVD player had no remote so very difficult watching a movie- had to get maintenance to assist. Our room phone did not work, so had to traverse stairs each time to speak with front desk.
Hot tub broke down after we arrived for 2 days. We discovered by accident that they fixed it on our last day there.
Room was clean but fan needs cleaning - obvious grunge seen around cover.
We had door shared with another room. We could hear every word of their long conversations. That was unpleasant.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our 2 day stay to visit the outdoors & wildlife.

As an older man, there was one security officer, I believe his name was Sandeep, who always offered a helping hand, was very courteous , and opened doors and offered lovely conversations...smile.

Had a great time there. Disappointed with poor WiFi and thermostat was either on or off. Too hot or too cold.

Would possibly be a great place to explore at a better time of year.

I booked the King Suite having checked the Hotel website for availability. On arrival it had been let to someone else. Ended up in a double queen bed room. According to the Resort, it was up to Travelzoo to let me know my booking had been changed. Obviously that did not happen. Also it was unfortunate that the weather was wet, overcast and snowy which did not allow us to explore adequately.

Pre-season winter getaway. Perfect weather - fresh snow and then blue sky and sunshine. Walk out favorite areas. The restaurant had wonderful meals with a very complete menu.
