Created by celebrated lingerie designer Chantal Thomass, the Vice Versa hotel offers chic accommodation based on the concept of the seven deadly sins. This unique lodging is housed in a smart modern building in the 15th arrondissement, a relaxed residential neighbourhood packed with restaurants and cafés, and is a 5-minute walk from both Convention and Porte de Versailles Metro stations with direct links to Madeleine and Concorde. Parc André Citroën is approximately 20 minutes' walk from the hotel, while the Eiffel Tower and Musée d'Orsay, home to a vast collection of impressionist art, take around 30 minutes to reach via Metro.
Vice Versa Hotel opens to striking, high-concept interiors including a dramatic, heaven-themed lounge with an honesty bar decorated entirely in white, where plush seating and stuccoed walls are offset by quirky animal-head and angel-wing wall hangings. Guests can start the day with buffet breakfast on cake-shaped banquettes in the candy pink dining room before descending to the hotel's basement hammam, which features red-and-black tiling to symbolise hell.
Spread over seven floors, the Vice Versa Hotel's 37 guestrooms are each styled to represent one of the seven deadly sins. Picks include Greed, decorated with exposed brick walls, banknote-themed wallpaper and keyhole-shaped chairs; pink-and-black hued Lust, featuring heart-shaped basins and walls lined with female silhouettes; and rustic-inspired Sloth, finished with a sky-design ceiling, and accented with flowers and butterflies. All the rooms are soundproofed and come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning and mini bars, plus ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Higher-category rooms add extra space and bathtubs. Room service is available.
