Since the Hotel Bonsol opened in 1953, the family-run hotel has grown and evolved, but its philosophy of welcoming guests as friends has endured.
Hotel buildings, pools and terraces are set in sub-tropical gardens among pine trees on a hillside in Illetas, just eight kilometres from Palma. The hotel has a small private beach and extensive leisure facilities including three swimming pools, two tennis courts (6€ per hour), table tennis and crazy golf. A playground, a children's pool (open May to October) and a kids' club (July and August) make the hotel a popular choice for families. At the Nirvana Spa guests can enjoy a wide range of health and beauty treatments including hydrotherapy, massages, facials and manicures.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory and there's an elegant restaurant where guests can enjoy lunch and dinner. During the summer months, head to the Beach Restaurant (reservations required) and seaside terraces for dining and drinks.
The air-conditioned rooms are classically decorated and have sea views or partial sea views across the lush gardens. Each has a balcony or a terrace. Junior suites have views of Palma Bay and the Mediterranean. There are spacious Family suites with separate living areas and either a large balcony with chairs and a table, or a terrace with sun loungers.
