Hôtel Plaza Etoile
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Location, location, location
- Cute, well-maintained rooms, some with superb views of the Arc de Triomphe
- One of the more budget-friendly options for Paris
- Fast, reliable, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there is a lobby bar, which is open all day. There’s also a cozy breakfast room for morning pastries, eggs and coffee. The fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, with its upmarket boutiques and cafés (including a Mariage Frere tea room) is around the corner, as is the nearest Metro.
Trendily decorated rooms are small, but immaculate and some have views of the the Arc de Triomphe, and offer good value for money. Bathrooms are also compact -- most have showers, though a couple are also fitted with bath tubs. As is common in Paris, the elevator is "bijoux" (just enough room for two people and bags). Free Wi-Fi is available and it is fast and reliable.
