The food and service were very good.

Our room was in need of modernising. The doors and bathroom fittings need some attention, particularly the shower pipe and the toilet roll holder. There was also a chemical smell from the kettle which made the water tainted.

Lovely spacious room with large comfy bed, tv, balcony, tea and coffee making facilities included horlicks and hot chocolate. Very clean. Great bathroom with fluffy white towels, quality toiletries, heated towel rail. The evening meal was delicious and the selection at breakfast was the best we have ever been offered. This should be more than a 3* hotel. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and attentive.
