The TITANIC Chaussee Berlin is a modern hotel in Mitte, a district "packed with enough attractions and parks to keep you busy for days", according to Rough Guides. It is in the heart of Berlin, just a few minutes' walk from former railway station and modern art museum Hamburger Bahnhof.
Museum für Naturkunde (The Natural History Museum, closed Mondays) is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It was built in 1810 and has a collection of over 30 million specimens (closed Mondays). The Berlin Wall Memorial is a 10-minute walk. Brandenburg Gate can be reached within half an hour, as can Checkpoint Charlie.
The hotel has a large indoor swimming pool with loungers, plus a spa with a sauna, a steam bath and treatment rooms. Hotel facilities include a lobby bar, a Mediterranean restaurant, a burger bar and a patisserie. Breakfast is served from 6:30-10:30am on weekdays and until 11am on weekends in the Alesta restaurant.
Windows are soundproofed, so whether your room looks on to the courtyard or the city, noise will be minimal. Wi-Fi is free.
