The Marquette is firmly a business hotel, conveniently located in the center of the Minneapolis Skyway System, a network of enclosed bridge-ways that allow guests access to most of downtown, particularly its main skyscrapers, without ever having to be exposed to the elements.
Rooms are bright, spacious and comfortable, with mini-fridges and coffeemakers. Wi-Fi isn't free, and fees for parking are steep, though that's pretty common at business hotels where higher ups are footing the bills.
Amenities include a well-equipped 24-hour fitness center, 24 meeting rooms and a business center. The on-site bar has a lively happy hour and seasonal outdoor seating, and the on-site restaurant, though nothing to write home about, is convenient and reasonably priced.
